Marie Lam-Frendo, Chief Executive Officer
Marie Lam-Frendo was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the GI Hub in 2019 and leads the GI Hub’s activities to advance the delivery of sustainable, resilient, and inclusive infrastructure. Marie is an active member of the G20 and supports their infrastructure agenda through action-orientated programs.
Prior to leading the GI Hub, Marie was an infrastructure adviser and civil engineer in the private and public sectors for over 20 years.
Qualifications: MSc of Civil Engineering (EPF Graduate School of Engineering, France), Master of Marketing and Strategy (ESCP-EAP, France), Master of Master of Management and Leadership (World Economic Forum - in partnership with the London Business School and INSEAD), and Global Leadership Fellow (World Economic Forum).

Henri Blas, Chief Content Officer
Henri joined the GI Hub as Chief Content Officer in 2020 and leads the strategy and delivery of content initiatives and research, tools, and products for the GI Hub. Henri is the GI Hub’s representative at the G20 Infrastructure Working Group and at the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group.
With formal training as a civil engineer, Henri has more than 20 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector. Prior to the GI Hub, Henri was the Resilience Finance Lead and Acting Chief Operating Officer for the Resilient Cities Network - an initiative across 100 cities pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation.
Qualifications: Msc of Civil Engineering (ENTPE, France) and Msc of Science (New York University).

Monica leads the development, delivery, and dissemination of the GI Hub’s strategic and innovation-focused programs on InfraTech, circular economy, transition pathways to net zero, and sustainable infrastructure investment.
A chartered chemical engineer, Monica has almost two decades of experience in technology, innovation, process engineering, and management consulting. Prior to the GI Hub, Monica was Head of Technology and Innovation Consulting at Isle Utilities, a technology and innovation consultancy specialising in cleantech. She began her career as a wastewater process engineer for leading consultancies in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Qualifications: Chartered Chemical Engineer, BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering (University of Queensland, Australia).

Cinthya leads the development, delivery, and dissemination of the GI Hub’s economic research and policy recommendations for the global infrastructure landscape.
An experienced economist, Cinthya has worked across the public and private sectors, not-for-profit organisations, and multilateral organisations in Latin America, Asia, and the United States in economics, applied research, and public policy within the infrastructure sector. Prior to the GI Hub, Cinthya was the Economist, Infrastructure and Energy at the Inter-American Development Bank where she led INFRALATAM, a database that estimates public investment in infrastructure in Latin America and other research and policy projects.
Qualifications: Master of Public Administration in International Development (Harvard Kennedy School) and BEcon (Universidad del Pacífico, Peru).
