The GI Hub has now signed a consultancy contract for the development of a Concession Management Tool, following a competitive tender. The tool, expected to be delivered by the end of 2017, will provide practical guidance that can be used by government teams around the world and aims to identify leading practices related to public-private partnership (PPP) concession management, as well as addressing the common challenges which may arise throughout the construction and operations phases.
In March 2021, the Global Infrastructure Hub (GI Hub) and Infrastructure Australia hosted the inaugural International Forum of Infrastructure Bodies (I-Bodies). The golden thread running throughout the forum was the pivotal role I-Bodies play in either strategic planning for infrastructure or funding and financing infrastructure in their jurisdictions.
In April 2021, the GI Hub hosted a workshop for the G20 Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) on the role of infrastructure in the circular economy. The workshop brought together the following experts in circular economy and infrastructure to identify synergies between the two sectors and explore how these opportunities can be implemented across the world.
