This initiative was delivered as part of the GI Hub's Country Engagement Program with Brazil.
The GI Hub supported Brazil’s infrastructure finance and funding policy by advising on the approach for data collection and analysing sources of infrastructure finance on a country level. GI Hub’s main contribution was to bring out key issues in data collection, such as identifying gaps in public data and, where appropriate, understanding approaches taken by other governments looking for similar data.

The key stakeholder in this initiative was Brazil’s Secretariat of Infrastructure Development within the Ministry of Economy. The initiative was delivered in partnership with Brazil's national development bank, Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES).
