The GI Hub has today published its FY22–23 annual report. Under the theme ‘Infrastructure for a fair and sustainable future’ the report reflects our work and achievements as a leading voice for collaboration and progressive change in the infrastructure ecosystem, and our ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable, resilient, and inclusive infrastructure.
In FY22–23, we built on our existing initiatives and created several new ones, delivering 16 initiatives in total. Highlights included:
- Launching InfraTracker, giving governments and industry access a single source of validated data on budgeted public investment in infrastructure
- Helping to accelerate private investment in infrastructure by developing a framework of priority actions
- Leading the G20’s work on infrastructure taxonomies and delivering our Draft Report, detailing the importance of taxonomies as a foundation of effective investment and policy decisionmaking
- Launching the Transition Pathways for Sustainable Infrastructure website, providing support, data, and case studies on infrastructure’s transition to net zero
- Developing new partnerships and deepening our consultations and sharing of leading research and knowledge, including via our expert panels
- Helping to build capacity by delivering training programs to a range of organisations across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
