The Australia-Africa Partnerships Facility (AAPF) is an initiative of the Australian Government to facilitate relationships and development cooperation with African governments and institutions. It is one of the key pillars of Australia's aid and development program in Africa. The Facility responds to requests from African partner governments and institutions to provide training, study tours, short-term advisory support and funding for capacity building programs, particularly in the areas of mining governance, agriculture and food security and public policy reform.
