Infrastructure Financing Trends in Africa – 2017 is the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa’s (ICA’s) annual report on how financial resources are being mobilised to facilitate the development of the continent’s transport, water and sanitation, energy and ICT sectors.

The goal of this paper is to describe the common features of small scale providers, propose common typology for describing and classifying different types of SPSPs, assess the scale and knowledge of SPSPs and compare patterns and trends in small scale water supply and electricity services.

This publication aims to link the study of urban environmental issues with the advancement of more sustainable urban growth, the report looks at Kampala and Uganda including their background in the context of urban development and drivers of environmental sustainability.
