Financing Infrastructure Connectivity for Economic Corridor Development, Bangkok

Sixteen government officials from 8 developing countries in Southeast Asia alongside experts in economic corridor development and infrastructure connectivity attended the Asian Development Bank’s Financing Infrastructure Connectivity for Economic Corridor Development event in Bangkok. The event’s goal was to not only outline the economic corridor development and potential approaches to develop and finance infrastructure connectivity but also to encourage discussion on policy insights.

Richard Timbs, a senior Director of Global Infrastructure Hub presented in the session on Development and Financing for Seaport Infrastructure. The focus of his discussion was on the opportunities for equity investors to participate in the marine terminal sector to assist with the growth and development of existing and new facilities.
